The ideal candidate will be responsible for reviewing the daily closed loan report and the loan documentation, including imaged documents, once a loan is booked to the bank's core system to confirm the data entered is correct and verified using the final loan approval. Responsible for validating the data uploaded to the bank's financial and collateral exception tracking system is correct and responsible for clearing exceptions by obtaining updated financial and collateral tracking documentation as required.</p><p><strong>ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong>  </p><ul>  <li>Review new and renewed loan      files after the funding of all loans once they have been booked into the      bank's core system.  </li><li>Review and validate that      financial and collateral ticklers are set up correctly for all new and      renewed loan files to ensure the ticklers are monitored properly and      promptly.   </li><li>Responsible for clearing all      collateral and financial exceptions, which includes following up with the      Client, Relationship Manager, and credit underwriting team when necessary,      regarding Financials, SNDAs, Leases, etc.   </li><li>Monitor property insurance      requirements on all real estate loans, including flood insurance on      applicable loans, and take appropriate steps if the proper insurance is      not in place; force the placement of insurance if required.   </li><li>Assist Loan Servicing by      monitoring all escrowed loans to ensure third-party invoices are received      and the insurance and property taxes are paid accordingly.   </li><li>Monitor and update the credit      and collateral exception tracking system daily.   </li><li>Update the Bank's document      Imaging platform as needed.  </li><li>Perform maintenance      transactions on the loan system as required.  </li><li>Complete and/or approve loan      payoff requests.  </li><li>Process paid loans (Paid Notes,      Collateral Release, UCC, Flood terminations)  </li><li>Assist with research requests      regarding loan servicing, exception tracking, collateral releases, etc.  </li><li>Assist the management team in      the preparation of support material associated with internal and external      audits and/or bank exams.</li></ul><p><strong>QUALIFICATIONS:</strong>  </p><ul>  <li>University degree, college      diploma, or equivalent work experience required.   </li><li>Minimum 3 years of experience      in lending or loan operations with a thorough understanding and knowledge      of banking and compliance laws and regulations associated with the lending      function.  </li><li>Ability to read and understand      complex materials, including attorney prepared loan documents, with the      ability to convey complex information in a way that is easy for others to      understand.  </li><li>Must have a thorough      understanding and knowledge of lending regulations and compliance issues      associated with various types of loans. Under minimal supervision, and in accordance with established policies and procedures and regulatory requirements, the position is responsible for exercising discretion and independent judgment while managing all banking center functions and providing strong managerial leadership to banking center staff, as well as maintaining effective departmental policies and procedures to prevent loss of money, accounts and customer good will. Also responsible for establishing, developing and retaining relationships with clients and prospective clients to proactively identify their banking needs and to achieve performance goals through proactive growth and retention of quality clients with a focus on driving overall profitability to meet bank targets. You will be expected to provide unparalleled customer service in welcoming clients and visitors, opening and servicing accounts, cross selling a variety of bank services, solving client concerns, as well as coordinating safe deposit box functions. </p><p><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong></p><ul><li>Maintain advanced knowledge and awareness of products and delivery methods of various bank services, financial industry status and trends.</li><li>Measure and control income and expense to meet or exceed budget, evaluate and recommend changes to management for improved earnings.</li><li>Interface with bank management and team members, regulators, and auditors to improve banking services.</li><li>Explain and sell bank services; motivate team members to generate sales by cross-selling and promoting bank products.</li><li>Follow bank policies, IRS and regulatory guidelines to establish new client relationships, verify eligibility and identification of all new account applicants and signers, determine eligibility of IRA contributions and distributions, account agreements, resolutions, and disclosures, evaluate client needs to recommend products and services, establish new deposit accounts, refer to relationship manager as appropriate, and respond to and act on service requests. </li><li>Open and close a variety of accounts, such as checking, savings, certificates of deposit, individual retirement accounts, money market accounts, and safe deposit box accounts. </li><li>Approve and sign cashier's checks, and approve overrides on transactions.</li><li>Act as Safe Deposit custodian, including opening, closing and providing access per bank guidelines.</li><li>Act as Vault and ATM custodian, including accurately processing entries and reconciling.</li><li>Build exceptional rapport with our clients by providing excellence in service. Identify and evaluate service issues, resolving them to our clients' satisfaction.</li><li>Perform teller transactions, including but not limited to: balance all cash on hand, drawer activities and total on a daily basis.
